Bawaal is a 2023 Indian Hindi-language romantic drama film directed by Nitesh Tiwari and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari under Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment and Earthsky Pictures. It stars Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor as a troubled married couple.

Plot
Ajay Dixit (Varun Dhawan) is a self-obsessed, narcissistic teacher who is only concerned about his image in society. He treats his newly wedded wife Nisha (Janhvi Kapoor) very badly as she suffers from epilepsy and he considers her a "defective piece". In a last ditch effort to save her marriage, Nisha takes a trip with Ajay to Europe.
During the trip, Ajay and Nisha are forced to confront their relationship and their own personal demons. They learn to appreciate each other's strengths and weaknesses, and they begin to heal their broken marriage.
